Royal Garden of Light

The Royal Garden of Light at the Wilanów Palace is an open-air exhibition, in which thousands of colourful diodes create sophisticated forms. If you visit the Wilanów park after dusk, you enter the space in which you can feel as at the royal court. The light installation is a great option for cold and grey nights for children and grown-ups alike!

In this year the Wilanów garden shines with a completely new installation – The King’s Winter Garden. It is an elegant, sophisticated exhibition, directly referring to the Palace’s architecture and history. Every element and detail of the exhibition refers to the iconographic sources, Jan III Sobieski’s coat of arms and the Palace symbolism. Visitors may also go on a walk in The King’s Magical Garden, which illuminates the garden at the Orangery this year for the last time. On weekends, the mappings, i.e. three-dimensional shows combining light, image and sound, are screened on the Palace facade, making elements of the decoration alive.

Open daily, 4.00–9.00 until 25 February 2018
