How long does it take to tour the entire Royal Garden of Light?
A tour of the entire exhibition takes about 45 minutes. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, when mapping shows take place, an additional 15 minutes must be added to the visiting time (this is the duration of one show). The length of stay in the Royal Garden of Light depends on the visitor. The museum does not limit the duration of stay at the exhibition.
On what days the exhibition is open?
The Royal Garden of Light is open EVERY DAY from 8th October 2022 to 28th February 2023, except for: 13th October, 1st November, 24th and 31st December.
What time is the last entry to the Royal Garden of Light?
The last entry to the garden is possible at 20.30.
What's the deal with entry limits for a given hour?
Due to the large number of visitors to the exhibition for a given hour, limits on the ticket sales apply (3000 tickets for each hour, i.e. 17.00–18.00, 18.00–19.00 etc.).
This means that when purchasing a ticket, you must state not only the day, but also the time slot for ENTRY to the Royal Garden of Light. You can stay at the exhibition without any limitations. Restrictions are implemented for the safety of visitors and museum staff.

Where can I buy tickets to the Royal Garden of Light?
The easiest way to buy tickets is online.
You can also buy them at the museum ticket office, which is open between 9.00 and 15.00.
Every day during exhibition admission hours, tickets can be purchased at the ticket machine (note: payment by card only).
Can I pay for my tickets in cash?
Yes, if you buy your tickets at the ticket office. The museum ticket office is open every day between 9.00 and 15.00.
Can tickets be returned or exchanged?
No. Tickets purchased are not refundable or exchangeable for other tickets. Refunds for purchased tickets can only be given if the Royal Garden of Light was closed on the day the ticket was valid. To receive a refund, please send an email to: email@example.com.
When purchasing tickets online, please ensure that you correctly enter the e-mail address to which the tickets will be sent. If the e-mail address is entered incorrectly, so that the visitor does not receive the tickets, the museum will not refund the cost of the lost tickets.
Is there an admission fee for the mappings?
Yes, admission to the mappings is charged. The mapping shows are included in the price of tickets to the Royal Garden of Light. You do not need to purchase additional tickets to see the mappings.

Do I need to book tickets in advance?
WE DO NOT HOLD TICKET RESERVATIONS. Tickets can be purchased online: www.bilety.wilanow-palac.pl or from the ticket machines located in the foreground.
Is there a discount with the Large Family Card?
No. The Royal Garden of Light is a temporary exhibition for which there is no discount with the Large Family Card.
Are there discounts for groups?
We do not provide discounts due to the purchase of a greater numer of tickets. Regardless of the number of people in a group, everyone (including guardians) buys tickets at the regular prices.
Does the group guardian enter free of charge?
No. Anyone entering the Royal Garden of Light must purchase a full-price or half-price ticket.
Is it possible to take photos with a tripod in the exhibition area?
Yes, but special care must be taken to ensure that this does not cause danger or reduce the visitor's comfort for other visitors to the exhibition area.
Is it possible to enter the exhibition area with a dog?
No. The Royal Garden of Light is located within a historic garden where entry with dogs is not possible. The exception to this is a guide or assistance dog. The ban applies to dogs of any size, including small dogs carried in bags.
Is there a car park nearby?
There is a public car park located at 31 Stanisława Kostki Potockiego Street managed by the Wilanów District Office (open every day) and a museum car park at 6A Stanisława Kostki Potockiego Street, entrance from Przyczółkowa Street (open on Saturdays and Sundays). These are paid car parks.
Does the Royal Garden of Light consume a lot of energy?
All the elements used for the exhibition are energy efficient, relying on 400,000 LEDs and consuming a total of 35 kw/h. On a monthly basis, this equates to approximately 5250 kw, which is 0.63% of the museum's total electricity requirements to secure the basic operation of the institution.
The electricity consumption during one winter evening of exhibition display and mapping was estimated at 175 kW, or 210 PLN gross. The electricity consumption during the display of the entire exhibition over a period of five months is a value of 1.68% of the museum's total annual electricity requirements.
